|Wednesday| Color your wine green on St. Patrick’s Day
It’s time to color your Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Riesling, Gewurztraminer, Semillon, Chenin Blanc, Viognier, and Pinot Gris green.
Green food coloring is needed, or blue for yellow wines. Or, go for the Portuguese Vinho Verde.
Happy St. Patrick’s Day.

|Thurday| Wine decanting
We don’t want to get technical, but it’s important to know what all of these technical terms mean when dealing with wine.
Decanting: A process to remove “mother” (decomposed organic sediment in wine), using a filter.
Breathe: Old wine need to “breathe”, young wine doesn’t.
Decanter: A funnel to filter wine. Its purpose is to enhance wine aromas by interacting wine with air.
Aerator: Same thing as a decanter.
